Composition

This group of materials has been formulated with carefully selected oxides of nickel, aluminum and iron. They are all free of any cobalt additions which would adversely affect temperature stability.

Characteristics and Applications

Type C-20, due to its broader linewidth, offers excellent high power and temperature characteristics at X-band and high frequencies.

Type C-50 has a relatively high Curie temperature, narrow linewidth and extremely low dielectric loss. I it being used at L-band and higher frequencies with superior performance. In resonance devices C-50 can be used as low as 500MHz and its high power capability is excellent.

All the nickel-aluminum materials are designed for a high phase shift combined with low dielectric and magnetic loss in the region between zero field and resonance.
